It keeps getting patched, but it keeps failing. I login and I am brought to a white screen. Random crashes occur... Please fix it! Come on!
iPhone 5s. It works the first time after an install. After that it goes to blank screen somewhere in the dialog process. Sometimes I get all the way to the deposit dialog. Others I cant get the login dialog. Deleting and reinstalling the app works for one use. Earlier this year it was working fine. I suspect the last update started the problem.
The app is not even starting under iOS 9.2. The interface looks very outdated and is extremely awkward. I love my credit union, but this is a case where they can learn from a big bank. Bank of Americas app is nicely designed with a simple deposit function. Not sure if the Western app was created in-house but please hire a proper consultant to rebuild it. The credit union seems to be having challenges with IT implementation. I still remember the back and forth with the ePay implementation.
Why is it that every time Apple has an OS update, that this app breaks? I know WFCU isnt a software company but they need to keep up with the technology to stay competitive. I can log into this app but the screen goes blank after that. I tried it on both my iPhone and iPad. So now I am unable to deposit my check. ugh.
Login screen is slow. Cant transfer funds from accounts.
I have also contacted customer support for the complaints common here. An additional unnerving problem is when I am depositing multiple checks, some will be reflected in the account balance immediately while others do not even show up in the history until much later...even though they are initially labeled "successful." This makes it necessary to be hyper vigilant on my balances to make sure the checks really went through. This inconsistent feedback is annoying, as is the scorched earth do-over: when there is one error (cant read the numbers in the photo, for example), the entire process must start from the beginning. Love the bank. Hate the app. Look at chase and Bank of America , folks, they know how to do this right.
